What is VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol)?

Voice over Internet Protocol, also known as IP Telephony, routes your phone call over the internet as opposed to the traditional public switch telephone network (PSTN). Similar to data traffic, such as email, this allows VoIP service providers like Thinking Phone Networks to provide service at a fraction of the cost of traditional service.

What is a Hosted IP PBX Service?

A hosted Private Branch Exchange (PBX) delivers your business phone system as a service over the internet as opposed to a an expensive piece of equipment physically located in your office. All of the functionality (auto-attendant, voice mail, etc.) is hosted and managed by Thinking Phone Networks centrally and phone service is provided via VoIP.

1. Free In-Person or Over the Phone Assessment
   A Thinking Phone Network trained representative will work with you to evaluate your network and business needs to help develop the best solution for your office.
   
   
2. Our Thinking Phone IP Enabled Phones Arrive
   Pre-configured IP enabled phones, provided by Polycom™, will arrive ready for use at your office.  Handsets are deployed using your existing data network infrastructure to connect to our VCX network via industry standard SIP, RTP, and HTTP protocols.  If needed, Thinking Phone Networks can also provide a compatible router and high-speed internet access.
   
   
3. Start Making & Receiving Phone Calls
   For many customers – that’s it.  Within minutes of each phone being connected to your network, they will activate and be ready for inbound and outbound calls.
