OverviewThinking Phone Networks was founded on a singular idea: That a cloud-based IT service delivery model can provide rich enterprise communications applications more effectively and much less expensively than premise-based equipment and software. We developed our ThinkingSuite communications ecosystem to take advantage of the efficiency, scalability, and cost saving nature of cloud computing.
Cloud computing involves the creation and deployment of services and applications over the Internet or private networks, supported by centralized and shared computing infrastructure. It represents a technological paradigm shift, not unlike the move from mainframe computers to client-server architectures in the 1980s or the leap from century-old analog telephone networks to Internet Protocol-based packet networks more recently.
The term “cloud” is a metaphor for the underlying Web-based infrastructure utilized to deliver services. In the Thinking Phone Networks model, cloud communications services are delivered via our resilient, redundant and secure multi-data center architecture. |
